Navigating Our Website

There are a number of ways in which you can search for products on our website. They are listed below for your information. |

Shop By Brands: This feature lets you search our range of toys by brand. To use this feature, click on the 'Brands' button on the left hand or top navigation bar. This takes you to a page, which displays many different brands, such as 'Barbie' and 'Tomy'. When you select a brand, all relevant products are listed. To make it easy for you to find one brand from many we list, they are arranged in alphabetical order. You can use the letters found at the top and bottom of the page to navigate through the brands.

Categories: This feature lets you search our range of toys by Category. To use this feature, click on the 'Categories' button on the left-hand or top navigation bar. This takes you to a page where the toys have been split up into categories ranging from 'activity toys' to 'jigsaws' and 'learning toys' to 'wooden toys'. |

Advanced Search: This feature lets you Search by Category, Search by Price, Search by Brand, Search by Keyword or a combination to find products. To use this feature, click on the 'Advanced Search' button on the top navigation bar. You can then enter your requirements and click 'Search'. The website will then list all the products, which comply with your requirements. |

Quick Search: This is the white box, which appears on every page of our website. Simply type in any keywords into this box and click 'Go'. It will then list all the products, which contain the keywords you typed in. For example to find 'Brio Track and Stack City Set'. If you type in the white box 'Stack', and then click 'Go', you will find that this item appears at the top of the page. Tip:use the least number of words in your search, and choose words that would not be common to many toys, i.e. in the above example use 'Stack' rather than 'Track'. |

Jumping Pages: When delivering a large list of products other websites list their pages as P1 P2 P3 P4 etc. We think that although this is helpful, how would you know the products you wanted were on say P6, without trolling through P1, P2, P3, P4, P5 to get to P6? To help we think that 'price' is a good guide, in other words if you were looking for a main present you would not wish to see products priced at say £6.99, however if you were looking for an accessory or a small gift you would. So our pages are listed, at the bottom of your VDU screen, by page number and by the price of the products descending in value (unless you select 'least expensive first' in 'My Preferences', in which case the products will ascend in price). This allows you to quickly skip to the price you desire. |

Preference Bar: When browsing\searching for products on our website you have the option to sort the products by: Best Selling, Price - High to Low, Price - Low to High. You can also change the number of products to be displayed on each page to either 25, 50 or 100. Once you have changed any of the criteria, click the "go" button next to it and the results page will be refreshed with your criteria. |

Related Product Links: When you view products you will see a section called "Related Product Links", here you can view other products which fall into the same categories as the product you are viewing. The first link will take you to either the brands, categories or centres page. The links after this will show you the relevant page, ie the "Pintoy" brand page, or the "Wooden Toy" centres page. The last link in the row will return all the products in that section via our results page. |

Other Features
|

Located in the top navigation bar, this shows a summary of the items in your shopping basket including number of items and price including shipping. Click the icon to view your full basket and change quantities and remove items. |

This icon is featured on all new products for 2009 on our website.
|

|
|
This feature enables children to compile a list of products to give to friends or family for gift ideas for their birthday or Christmas. If they see a product they like, they simply click on this icon and it will add it to their wish list. This list can then be printed out to send by post or emailed to a recipient. This list can be altered at any time. To view your wish list click on the wishlist button in the left-hand navigation bar.

Wherever this icon is displayed next to a product, if you click on it, it will take you to an information page where more detailed information about the product can be viewed. This information could be what the product is made from, background history of the toy, game or puzzle or give you a better understanding of the product and how it may help your child develop.

This icon enables you to
email friends or family regarding the product you like, or one that you think
they may be interested in. This icon is displayed under every product, if you
click on it, it will create an email message with a link, enabling you to
write a message, address it, and send it to whomever you please. When the
recipient clicks on the link they will be able to see the item on our
website.

| Convert to your own currency |
|
|
|

This shows a pop up box with a drop down menu that you can select your currency from and by clicking go to it. This will display the price in your preferred currency below the price in UK Pound Sterling. This price is only an approximation and may differ from the rate at which the banks will charge.

|
Show price excl. tax
|
This function, when clicked, will display the price of an item with UK Sale Tax (VAT - Value Added Tax) deducted. When viewing a page with more than one search result, clicking this function on any product will remove the tax from all the products in the current search. |

Email me when this is available

Sometimes we run out of stock of popular items, however this enables you to submit your email address and we will email you as soon as we get more stock.

We keep images small to make browsing quick and easy. You can view larger images on many of our products by clicking the small image or this button.

Many electronic toys have unique sounds and by clicking this logo when you see it you can here this sound on your computer.
|
|
|
|
When you see this logo next to a product it means that there is a video of the product being used.
