The EF-2000 is the new European multi-role fighter airplane, the result of aircraft industry collaboration between Great Britain, Germany, Italy and Spain. With the introduction of the Typhoon in their respective forces the previous generation of fighter aircraft (Phantom, Jaguar, F-104) will be replaced. The plane is extremely manoeuvrable and is equipped with sophisticated electronic equipment, which makes it possible to operate under all conditions (all-weather and night sorties) using a vast assortment of air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons.
